2008Edit

3800-3959 are 2008 Orion VII Next Gen Hybrid buses. They are all operated by New York City Transit. These buses are equipped with Hawker XT Lead-Acid Batteries.

2009-2010Edit

3960-4702 are 2009-2010 Orion VII Next Gen Hybrid buses. New York City Transit operates buses 3960-4019, 4040-4139, and 4170-4278, 4295-4482 and 4513-4630, and 4656-4702 while MTA Bus Company operates buses 4020-4039 and 4140-4169, 4279-4294, 4483-4512, and 4631-4655. This was a large order of 743 buses, but did not operate as well as the RTS. Adding the 2008 order, the total amount of Orion VII NGs ordered are 903.

2009-2010 (CNG)Edit

7820-7869 are 2009-2010 Orion VII Next Gen CNG buses. They were originally ordered for MTA Bus with options for 24 more, but the pilot bus 7820 was moved into NYCT and all buses directly replaced the 1995 Orion V CNG order.

2011Edit

7000-7089 are 2011 Orion VII Third Gen (EPA10) buses. These buses were part of the 40-foot Bus Test and Evaluation Program. One pilot bus (7000) was delivered in September 2011, with the full order delivered between October and December 2011. Of the 90 buses, 7075-7089 have screw compressors and disc brakes. The buses feature the MTA's blue stripe livery, which are also applied on the front of the buses.

2012-2013Edit

1550-1653 are Orion VII Third Gen (EPA10) Hybrid buses built from 2012-2013. This was the last order of Orion buses ordered before Dalmer shut down operations. 10 buses were delivered between January and February in 2012, then an additional 20 between March and June, and finally 44 more by November 2012. Due to massive delays in this order, Dalmer agreed to build an additional 30 buses for a reduced price. These buses were delivered between January and March of next year.
