Metro North Rail Road Harlem Line operates between Grand Central Terminal & Wassaic. You Currently have Local Service between Grand Central Terminal & North White Plains. You Currently Have Service between Grand Central Terminal & Southeast (Formerly Brewster North): Local Service between White Plains & Southeast & Express Service between Grand Central Terminal & White Plains. During the Morning & Evening Rush, You have Service between Grand Central Terminal & Wassaic with Local Service between Wassaic & Golden Bridge, then Express to Grand Central Terminal with a stop @ White Plains. All other Times, Change @ Southeast for Service to/from Wassaic. I would NOT Change ANYTHING about that.
I would Make sure to Advertise that ALL People going to Yankee Stadium along the Harlem Line, Get off @ Melrose & Transfer to the BX6 Bus, GOING to Riverside Park Manhattan, to take You to Yankee Stadium. In addition advertise that when leaving Yankee Stadium, take the BX6 Bus, GOING to Hunts Point, to Melrose Station & then Transfer to the Harlem Line for Metro North.
Currently, Amtrak going between Penn Station & Boston travels over the Hells Gate Bridge, which is Next to the RFK Bridge. I would like to see an Extension connecting Metro North Rail Road in the South Bronx with the Hells Gate Bridge. Once that Extension is Completed, EVERY Other LOCAL Train travelling To/From North White Plains would go to Grand Cental Terminal & EVERY Other LOCAL Train travelling To/From North White Plains will go to Penn Station. EVERY other EXPRESS Train travellomg To/From Southeast will go to Grand Central Terminal & EVERY Other EXPRESS Train travelling To/From Southeast will go to Penn Station. During the Morning & Evening Rush EVERY Other Train travelling To/From Wassaic would go to Grand Central Terminal & EVERY other Train travelling To/From Wassaic would go to Penn Station. ALL Other Times, Transfer @ Southeast for Service To/From Wassaic.
